Don’t you like my unrelated post title? I do.

So… Minecraft has absorbed me.. kinda. I’ve been working on writing Bukkit (Minecraft Server) plugins, working on IRC bots to relay what happens on a selected IRC channel and whatever happens on the IRC channel goes to the server, ignoring the bot itself, of course.

I need to hook into bukkit.event.playerChat (I think) to get this to work. This doesn’t seem like it will take very long to code, but I am probably wrong.

I’m relatively tired this morning, staying up until 1AM yesterday and going to bed about 2AM today, so I’m gonna just go publish this post and update WordPress.

Hey guys, I just upgraded to OS X Lion (10.7.1) last night. Playing Minecraft Beta 1.8.1, I noticed that I had to tweak my settings, lowering basically everything. After doing that, I noticed that I have VirtualBox installed. I ran that, installed a 40GB 4GBRAM Windows 7 Computer. Multi-tasking Google Chrome browser with sed VM, I noticed a deep, long valley (task manager performance ) in my performance. After shutting the VM down and restarting the Mac just to make sure, I started up Minecraft again. Connecting to my Debian server, I noticed that the connection was slow. I wondered to myself, what the f-ck? I thought my 1/10GB/ps router was 10 gb/s. Or at least 1GB/s. I ran my windows netbook and connected. It was going like the clappers. The performance seems to have gone down rapidly since the upgrade, so what is with the internet built into my Mac?

Hello, people and welcome to my blog! Here, you will find information about me, and my other particulars. I have a Minecraft Server (link in header), a Windows Server 2008 R2 Server with my own web server (no-name-webs) and a basic understanding of BASIC (RealStudio 2011) and have been using that since mid-2007, when I was obsessed with making basic mspaint-like programs. I will probably leave this blog to die as I never got into this whole thing. But when I do post, I will make pretty long posts. Just like this one. Anyway, when I play on the Mac Pro, I mostly use Minecraft beta 1.8.1 (just released) for the brunt of my gaming. People think of me as ‘peculiar‘. I think not. Well, my fastest typing test for me was 85wpm with an accuracy of 98%. I am very proud of that as other children in my class only achieve 35wpm with an average accuracy of 63%. Anyway, the reason I go under the guise of DSPhat_FTW (@DSPhat_FTW @ Twitter) is because in March, I bought a Nintendo DS (Dual Screen) Original after going through 3 Nintendo DS Lites (crappy build quality). I also have a YouTube account called DSPhat which I have the occasional tutorial posted. So, what do you think about me?
